Flea And Tick Control

Fleas and ticks are the most prevalent pests that usually attach themselves to domestic pets such as dogs and cats before they start to bite those pets. When you have your new pet, it is important that you control the pests that inhabit its fur because they usually make the pet uncomfortable. A pet that is in discomfort cannot be able to relax and play with you because its skin is always itching most of the time form the bites it receives from the fleas and ticks. After some time of its blood being sucked, it will lose weight and become unhealthy. There is a risk of death if you do not take care of the pests and treat it quickly. Some ways can be used to control fleas and ticks that affect your pet.

The first method is by washing your pet every day or after every two days using a good detergent which cannot itself affect the pet. A detergent will certainly kill the pests in case they have already started living in the pet's fur because it causes suffocation by blocking their breathing channels. They will then fall after they die and cannot support themselves on the pet's skin anymore. This method prevents them from breeding and growing in number while they are still on the pet's fur.  Get info here!

The second method is by spraying your pet well using a pesticide that has been tested and found to be able to kill fleas and ticks. Make sure that you buy your pesticide after consultation with your pet's veterinary doctor to ensure that it does not get affected by a pesticide that is reactive or when you create a concentrated solution from pet-lock.com for spraying. When you are spraying the pet, you should have safety gloves on and use your fingers to rub the pesticide into the pet's fur well so that all the fleas and ticks that are hiding on the skin can be killed.

Lastly, you should also wash and spray inside the pet's cage every time you wash and spray it. This is a safety rule to ensure that any fleas and ticks that jumped off the pet's body and hid inside the cage can also be killed so that they do not get back onto the pet's fur again after you have cleaned and sprayed it. You should also wash and change the pet's beddings regularly to provide it with a fresh sleeping place where it can be comfortable.
